Aluminium offers environmental friendliness
Aluminium is the most widespread metal on earth, constituting more than 8% of the Earth’s mass. Although aluminium was only discovered around 200 years ago, it can now be found in abundance in building construction and decoration, vehicle manufacturing, tools and equipment and ever popular in packaging industries. Aluminium is one of the most recycled materials on earth. Almost 75 per cent of the 1.5 billion tonnes of Aluminium ever produced is still in use today!
Aluminium is light, strong and long lasting
Another feature of aluminium is that it is light and uses less energy to use in manufacturing and to transport! This means that products made from aluminium can be thin, light and flexible, yet still extremely strong and durable. Very few other materials can match aluminium in this regard! Many of the same benefits that make aluminium so desirable in modern industries such as aerospace are very useful in our very own hygiene industry!
Aluminium is hygienic
A material can be described as hygienic if it is impermeable, has a non-porous surface, hardwearing and robust and most importantly, easy to clean! Aluminium has all these qualities, as well as being a sterile material which does not allow bacterial growth on its surfaces. This means that aluminium hygiene dispensers are extremely well suited to the hygiene and cleaning industries offering it these invaluable and highly sought after characteristics!
Aluminium is low in maintenance
Due to its non-corrosive nature, its finish, strength and durability, aluminium needs little assistance to keep it in good shape and close to its original quality! In addition to these low maintenance properties, all Metal Graphics’ hygiene dispensers are powder coated which is further resistant to general wear and tear. Powder coated aluminium offers greater protection against marking and holds up even more so against fingerprints, grime, UV rays and scratching
In contrast to their plastic counterparts, aluminium hygiene appliances may come with a higher price tag, but then they are also more sturdy, look good for longer and there is less likelihood that they will need to be replaced as often.
